Joss Stone - Girlfriend On Demand
Lyrics:
"Girlfriend On Demand"
In the beginning
You came on so strong
You were polite
And full of charm
You got what you wanted
Then it wasn't very long
Before you dropped the act
And hot became lukewarm
You can tell everybody
That we're just foolin' around
But, baby, don't fool yourself
I know what's going down
If you won't hold my hand
How can you call yourself my man?
If I, if I can't meet your friends
And your family, how can I be
Your girlfriend on demand?
If you won't hold my hand
Give me one good reason
I should sit around and wait
If you control my destiny
How can I trust in fate?
Go ahead, take your time
I want you to be free
But I won't stay here by your side
While you're denying me
If you won't hold my hand
How can you call yourself my man?
And you, see you don't understand
What this does to me, how it feels to be
Your girlfriend on demand
When you won't hold my hand
You whisper that you love me
But you won't say it out loud
You act like you're ashamed to be with me
I want a man who's proud
Tell me to my face I'm not good enough
What could you possibly be thinking of?
Why won't you look me in the eyes
When we're making love?
If you won't hold my hand
Then how can you call yourself my man?
And you, you don't understand
What it does to me, how it feels to be
Your girlfriend on demand
If you won't hold my, hold my hand
Hold my hand
It's all I'm asking, baby
To hold my hand

Happy Valentine's Day! :-)
Looking for something special to do with your girl, tonight? How about taking her: by a flower store, after you pick her up from work, and letting her pick out a customized bouquet of flowers (if she likes that sort of thing - some do; some don't); going to her favorite restaurant (are reservations needed? CALL AHEAD to be sure!); finding out if she enjoys candy or chocolates and, perhaps, finding out where they sell the ones she enjoys and swinging by there. Then, take her out to this great Nicholas Sparks movie, 'Safe Haven.' It's got the romance, family, and suspense/drama all rolled into one great movie!
Afterwards, perhaps take her out to a nice dessert place, that also makes great flavored coffees. Yes...for some of you (and even your girl!), this might be a bit much so...hopefully, you know her well enough to know which stops she might enjoy and which ones to skip. This is, however, what "romancing your girl" is all about, though; something this special day was created to focus on so...GO CRAZY!! :-D When the early part of the evening has been enjoyed, together, I don't think I need to tell you where this could all go...IF you have done your homework and as long as you are respectful, courteous and have shown her just how much you really do love her. LUCKY GIRL! :-)
Happy Valentine's Day, Everyone! :-)

Friday, November 23, 2012
I've always been what I call a 'HopeFUL Romantic,' rather than the usual label that puts forth a negative connotation: I believe in "true love" and...that if a couple is supposed to be together, God Will Direct it so that they are able to be together. Of course, it's heart-breaking, when people meddle in what I believe is God-ordained, in the first place, and causes the couple not to be able to be together as much as they wanat to be. So sad...ALL the years stolen from this couple.
A silver lining, in the end, though. DON'T WAIT TO CONTACT SOMEONE THAT YOU LOVE AND MISS AND WANT SO MUCH TO BE TOGETHER WITH. YOU NEVER KNOW THE REASON WHY THINGS ENDED BUT...IF YOU STILL LONG FOR THIS PERSON, THERE'S PROBABLY A VERY GOOD REASON. REACH OUT AND CONTACT THE ONE YOU LOVE, BEFORE CHRISTMAS; YOU NEVER KNOW HOW THINGS MIGHT END UP. GOOD LUCK!

Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane (PCM Version)
Man, do I ever LOVE listening to guitars, still! Pretty surreal to hear songs being played on the radio that I used to rock out to, some 30 years ago! WILD!! The BEST music genre that ever came along...IMHO!! :-D

Les Miserables - Official Movie Trailer 2012 (HD)
I can't recall a musical being done, in film, since Nicole Kidman's 'Moulin Rouge.' This Christmas, however, get ready to watch what looks - to me - to be a musical with Academy Awards all around! Seeing Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Aaron Tveit, Samantha Barks, with Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen, singing, well...that, um, "sounds" very intriguing, indeed! One more month away! Mark your calendars!
