Sunday's Coming - Easter 2008
Do you know why we tell each other "Happy Easter" this time of year? It's because of this very subject, in this vid: we believe what the Bible tells us:
1 Corinthians 15:3-5 (New International Version, ©2011)
3) "For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4) that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5) and that he appeared to Cephas,[b] and then to the Twelve."
So...we are HAPPY in the HOPE that we are given of being able to be with Christ, someday, FOREVER, thanks to the SACRIFICE He made for us on the Cross! :-D And...Christians will greet each other, on Easter Sunday, as a celebration of this Holiday with "He is RISEN!" and the response is "He is Risen, INDEED!" :-D
Happy Easter and may God richly bless you!
Glorious Day (Living He Loved Me) - Casting Crowns
I love this song so much! It's a beautiful reminder of what is offered to each and every one of us: John 3:16 For God SO LOVED the world that He gave His ONE and ONLY Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
I hope you enjoy and have a Blessed weekend...in Remembrance! :-)

You Love Me Anyway - Sidewalk Prophets
Most days, I feel like this young lady depicted in this vid: "unloved." Fortunately, I know that there is at least ONE Who Loves me for who I am. Thank God! :-D
And...here are the lyrics:
The question was raised
As my conscience fell
A silly, little lie
It didn’t mean much
But it lingers still
In the corners of my mind
Still you call me to walk
On the edge of this world
To spread my dreams and fly
But the future’s so far
My heart is so frail
I think I’d rather stay inside
But You love me anyway
It’s like nothing in life that I’ve ever known
You love me anyway
Oh Lord, how You love me
How You love me
It took all of my strength
To simply be still
To seek but never find
All the reasons we change
The reasons I doubt
And why do loved ones have to die?
But You love me anyway
It’s like nothing in life that I’ve ever known
You love me anyway
Oh Lord, how You love me
I am the thorn in Your crown
But You love me anyway
I am the sweat from Your brow
But You love me anyway
I am the nail in Your wrist
But You love me anyway
I am Judas’ kiss
But You love me anyway
See now, I am the man that called out from the crowd
For Your blood to be spilled on this earth shaking
ground
Yes then, I turned away with this smile on my face
With this sin in my heart tried to bury Your grace
And then alone in the night, I still called out for You
So ashamed of my life, my life, my life
But You love me anyway
Oh, God… how you love me
You love me anyway
It’s like nothing in life that I’ve ever known
You love me anyway
Oh Lord, how You love me
You love me, You love me
You love me, You love me
How You love me
How You love me
How You love me

Cinematic Orchestra - To Build A Home
There's something so beautiful about Patrick Watson's voice in this song which is featured in 'The Horse Boy' as well as on
'Grey's Anatomy.'
Hope you enjoy!
Lyrics:
There is a house built out of stone
Wooden floors, walls and window sills...
Tables and chairs worn by all of the dust...
This is a place where I don't feel alone
This is a place where I feel at home...
Cause, I built a home
for you
for me
Until it disappeared
from me
from you
And now, it's time to leave and turn to dust...
Out in the garden where we planted the seeds
There is a tree as old as me
Branches were sewn by the color of green
Ground had arose and passed it's knees
By the cracks of the skin I climbed to the top
I climbed the tree to see the world
When the gusts came around to blow me down
I held on as tightly as you held onto me
I held on as tightly as you held onto me......
Cause, I built a home
for you
for me
Until it disappeared
from me
from you
And now, it's time to leave and turn to dust........
'The Horse Boy' Movie and Book
So...I've been meaning to write this post for a couple of weeks, now. It's the documentary of a little boy, named Rowan, who is Autistic and the Adventure that he and his parents went on, to Mongolia, to try to find a cure for Rowan's many challenges and symptoms that presented themselves at the beginning of this documentary. Watch the movie, first. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and become so enamored by Rowan and his amazing parents and the lengths they went to, to try to find help and relief for Rowan; for ALL of them!
And...after watching the movie, I highly recommend listening to Rowan's father, Rupert's, audio book (I bought via iTunes.) of same. It's wonderful because you hear the immense love that this father has for his son, in his tender and soothing British accent, as he recounts the journey in his beautifully-written book. All I can say is: If we ALL had had fathers who had gone to such great lengths to have gotten to know us and show us love!
I hope you enjoy. I know I really did!
And...here are a couple of interviews that were done, a year ago (I know; how did I miss this?!) of Rupert and Rowan's mother, Kristin, with Shannon Des Roches Rosa of 'Squidalicious.' And...I can't WAIT to read Kristin's book, 'Self-Compassion - A Healthier Way to Relating to Yourself,' due to be released on April 19th! :-)
Oh and...the "hauntingly beautiful" song on the trailer is by Patrick Watson of 'The Cinematic Orchestra' which I will feature, next.
