'Move' - MercyMe

MercyMe "MOVE" live from Mr. Lovewell on Vimeo.

My favorite band just came out w/this rockin' song! LOVE it! Hope you enjoy as well

Lyrics:

I'm not about to give up
Because I heard you say
There's gonna be brighter days
There's gonna be brighter days
I wont stop, Ill keep my head up
No, I'm not here to stay
There's gonna be brighter days
There's gonna be brighter days

I just might bend but wont break
As long as I can see your face

[Chorus]
When life wont play along
And right keeps going wrong
And I cant seem to find my way
I know where I am found
So I wont let it drag me down
Oh, I'll keep dancing anyway

I'm gonna move (move)
I'm gonna move (move)
I'm gonna move

Ive got to hold 'er steady
Keep my head in the cage
Everything is about to change
Everything is about to change

This hurt is getting heavy
But I'm not about to cave
Everything's about to change
There's gonna be brighter days

I just might bend but wont break
As long as I can see your face

[Chorus]

No matter what may come
Gotta move to a different drum
No matter what life brings
Gotta move gotta move to a different beat [x2]

I just might bend but wont break
As long as I can see your face

[Chorus x2]

Hi, Tommy! Nice of you to..."drop by!" :-D Funny...when I posted this, I thought "it's too bad that I can see that several people drop by to check out my blog but never leave a post; I wonder if Tommy ever stops by. PROOF! AWESOME! :-D

So, hey...mercy me; did I not make the name of this AWESOME band obvious enough?! ;-) Um...the band's name is 'MercyMe' and...I don't know why they spell it together like that BUT I do happen to know the cute story behind the name, though:

"The group’s name, “MercyMe”, originated during Bart’s time as a youth ministry intern in Florida. Concerned that her grandson was home whenever she called, Bart’s grandmother would exclaim, “Well mercy me, why don’t you get a real job?" So...in honor of his Grandma. :-D

I LOVE this band! These guys are the REAL deal! They know how to have a GOB of FUN and...their hearts are genuine and in the "Right Place." :-D It shows in every song that pours from their mouths: the lyrics; their excellent vocals; their instrumentation; QUALITY through and through; consistent to the end! I was admiring how complicated the timing of this tempo and the lyrics are of this most recent song and how they sing it like they've been singing it, together, for years! They "work"/"play" so well together, it's AMAZING to watch them!

Lead singer, Bart, has the FUNNIEST Tweets one could ever wish to read; you just never know what's gonna go out, next! :-D (looks like he's been "enjoying" watching some sports. He gets a little crazy into it, when that happens. Otherwise, he's a steady stream of ROFL FUNNIES. I haven't been following as much, lately, as I used to (daily). I really want to get back to it because they are so funny and uplifting! LOVE dudes that love God, music, and...hamming around! :-) : http://twitter.com/#!/BartMillard)

BTW, Tommy, this is the one and same band that I asked you if you knew, awhile back, when you posted this and...one of their most recent new songs that I have posted, earlier (funny; I thought I had reposted this song, more recent than this. I LOVE this song SO MUCH that I have to listen to it, on a regular basis! Fortunately, that isn't too difficult; my favorite radio station plays it ALL the time! :-) :

Really glad that you enjoyed the song, Tommy. I just heard it, for the first time, the other day on my favorite KLOVE radio station and LOVED it, meself! :-D (Sorry I wrote so much, in response, but...[obviously] I can't say enough about how AWESOME this band is! You should go on youtube and check out some of their other songs, as well, like 'Word of God Speak and 'I Can Only Imagine.' The list could go on! lol! :-D

Have a wonderful day, Tommy!
