You are one of the few people who know of Bernadette Peters. I saw her in 'Heart Beeps' a million years ago, w/Andy Kaufman and I just remember it being sweet and funny and how I liked her. :-) Should probably go back and watch it; I saw a clip of it, tonight, which I didn't remember a lick of! :-/
Check out this vid of him interviewing his ex-girlfriend, Elayne Boosler. Quite funny; I'm, still, trying to figure out if it was a spoof, on the audience, or if it was a "for real" deal. I think it was a spoof 'cuz of the way the camera kept rolling when they went to "commercial break" and how well she "recovered" when he, first, started getting rude!
