Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoy what you find and return, often, finding this site a respite from the frenzy of this life. Oftentimes, I would rather just share favorite songs than my opinions because music almost "speaks louder” to me than just the written/spoken word; and…I feel that music nourishes the soul better than anything much I have to say! :-)

Excellent version. Actually I hadn't heard of Cerys Matthews. She has a wonderful voice, I'll have to check her out some more..

It's funny 'cuz I dig around and try to find the best (usually the "official video" of a band) that I can, on uboob, and...when I saw Tom Jones, I just rolled my eyes 'cuz who can forget Tom [kiss-every-girl-on-the-planet-w/a-sloppy-wet-kiss Tom] Jones?! But...when I checked out the other vids, I wasn't impressed. Many times, the live performances aren't as good as the "official" vid; but...in this case, I sure thought so! My guess is that Cerys got her kiss, backstage, before they even got on the stage, together 'cuz they seemed to be quite "cozy," together. :0)

@Tommy: meant to add, Tommy, that I ran into the differences in versions, recently, when I was looking for the "best" version of Mariah Carey and Luther Vandross' 'Endless Love' for my 'Oldies But Goodies' blog, and...I LOVED...BOTH but check out the AMAZING "chemistry(?)"/vibe(?) that their live version is, compared to their equally beautiful studio rendition of that amazing song.

And...COOL: someone who also appreciates Mariah's amazing voice! You're ON! I've been wanting to post another one of her songs (I don't think that I have posted it on my music blog. Will check and see and post here, if I didn't.)
